You may even take a ruler with you to a shop that sells beads, just to get a familiarity with the topic.
Designs. You might be looking at a wonderful tiger eye bead. And you desire a whole strand of them. Fine, not every bead on the strand will look exactly like the picture. Patterns & pigment might change from bead to bead. Now in my view, that is what you require. That is what makes a piece exceptional and so valuable. But the first time you buy beads online, this might come as a surprise.
