Nusa Dua itself would seem like Beverly Hills, with manicured lawns, sprawling properties and unique lack of anything indigenous. The Bali Collection has the appearance of an outdoor shopping complex in California, complete with compact restaurants with outdoor dining, palm trees and tranquil vibe.

Sugared dough is one design that has spread around the planet, and like crack to crackheads, this products is irresistible to clients. If I ask Indonesians if the they just like bread, they'll all say no. Take them to a mall with sugared dough and they just have to have it.
Discovery Mall is essentially located to make bank, if the owners pack it with 'bule friendly' merchandise. They already have Starbucks and Pizza Hut. In which as one with the 'sugared dough' and $30 surf shorts should captivate the kids for a good 2 hours.
For tourists to Bali, you will find decent quality goods in this shopping center. Everything has a price tag and prices are non-negotiable. I bought a very nice sarong one time from the batik store on the ground floor.
Carrefour
The hottest shopping center is Carrefour at the Sunset Road which features the huge hypermarket of the French retailer on the top floor sale on over 8000 sqm, food, baked goods, keen food, wine, diary products, fridges, TVs, luggage, clothing, furniture, computers etc. All in one area similar to a Wal-Mart in the US. The lower floors offer you a variety of shops possessing a Periplus bookshop, an Apple-authorized reseller and many food outlets. Opening hours are daily from 9:30 am to 10:00 pm.
Sukawati
If you questioned Balinese where to find cheapest arts and craft, they will recommend you Sukawati!!
Located at Gianyar Sukawati has classical market on the main road and side streets. Named for its art market where you can get the "cheapest price" handicrafts. Big selection of Balinese handicraft are accessible, together in finished and semi-finished statues. A large variety of woven baskets can be found here along with Balinese ceremonial merchandise made from colourful "Prada" - gold painted cloth.
