Rewards - Punishing a Dachshund is not very efficient due to their strong will. They will grow hard headed and possibly aggressive with excessive punishment. Alternatively, use positive reinforcement to reward good practices. Dachshunds love physical attention as well as goodies as rewards for good behavior.
Dachshund training is a trying experience. It takes time, effort and a great deal of patience on your part. Most importantly don't let your adorable little puppy get the better of you.
